Somewhere in the middle of my tough life journey

Looking at my last messages posted on the website, I¡¯m pondering for a long time. It seems that I haven¡¯t updated the new message for ages. All of a sudden, I realize that it¡¯s been a couple of months not to do any writings on my blog site. What a slothful guy! I always tell myself to know this approach will be the best way to share something with you guys. But as a matter of fact, few guys can read my messages through this. And how many of them who read this care much about the man who are behind the words? I don¡¯t know. So this is becoming a dull thing for me and my wishful thinking is actually my inner drive to push me to continue to write something. But everytime when I speak out, I feel extremely relaxed because what I say is all the things that I want to express. Now cut it off and bring it on!

Sometimes when I look at my own face into the mirror, I find something¡¯s changed on my appearance. With the growing of my age, more and more wrinkles shows up on my face though I have a baby face. And my job of teaching gradually makes my face look like a fiddle without any expressions. This is the first time I feel I¡¯m older than before. No, much older. Several days before, I had a surgery of taking something bad away from my body during the 7-day vacation. And seven days are the most longest days without moving out in my life. Added to the bad mood, I figure I fell down to the bottom of my life valley. Till now, I still can¡¯t walk out of the shadow over my head. The strong feeling about staying on somewhere in the middle of my tough life journey bothers me a lot. A lot of workload makes me want to quit. I can¡¯t but I still put all the things off. So now my assignment keeps piling up and they¡¯re awaited to be done by me.

Unconsciously, John Lennon (1940-1980) has passed away from us for 25 years. But a lot of people don¡¯t forget about him and his music. Why? Because his personality and unique viewpoint of the world and livings. His record keeps re-releasing again and again. In memories of his contribution to music and mankind, another collection called ¡°The definitive working class hero: John Lennon¡± was released on the beginning of October. I heard through the whole album at the very first time. Lots of familiar melodies came up in the air and this oldies and goodies again touched my fragile heart and soul. They can really give me the hopes to love and live. Now he passed the his soul torch on to David Tao with his music impact on DT. And DT are using the gift God send to him and torch of John Lennon to affect the next Eastern Generation, like me and the young ones who have a dream to change the world with love and hope.

Yesterday our Chinese astronauts came back from the outer space by our own space shuttle. I¡¯m so proud of them and what they achieved. This is also another dream for all Chinese people that one day we can also travel in the space. Great Job, guys! However, I know it¡¯s not time to throw cold water on this breaking news. But when I witnessed the exciting time coming, I¡¯m more concerned with our education right now. The achievement that our astronauts accomplished let the advanced countries to know we have the courage and ability to conquer the outer space. What will we show them on the fields of education? Right now we can only show them the medals of Math Olympics Competition. So what? It can not stand for our real level of education. Maybe a short future later, we¡¯re the watchers to witness other country exploring the planets more far away from the earth without doing anything about it at all.

Subject: A Full Day Ã¦ÂµµÄÒ»Ìì

After taking a shower, I can sit on the hotel chair to write down some stuffs happened in last two days since when I arrived at Shanghai. The busy schedule and unfamiliarity with Shanghai made me be busy around and never settled down to think about something. Now I¡¯m available to think and write.

Sometimes we feel time can fly away very fast but sometimes it can become a pain for us. These two days mean two years to me and it¡¯s a part of starting of my amazing trip. Harry is the first familiar friend I met in here, but he¡¯s definitely my dream one. It shows me the great differences between reality and visual world. He¡¯s a cute little kid who just hooks up on music. He¡¯s so childlike but pure and his innocence is the great cherished treasure to me. (ÄãÊÇÒ»¸ö´óÂ·Ã¤¼æ×´¿öÍâÉÙÄê£¬so am I.) Your nature moves and talking embarrass me big time but I truly like them. Pomelocat is my other great help. Her pure character impressed me a lot and I just want to thank for her tickets so that I can have the opportunity to explore the annual book exhibition to buy some books by random. God is on my side at this time to send you guys to be around me. My schedule turned out to be tough since I stepped off the train. Except for a little trouble with accommodation, one of my major problems, was settled on the first day morning. Harry, Pomelocat and I walked around the whole city in the terrible sunlight of Shanghai. I felt uncomfortable but happy. The non-mainstream record shop made my eyes wide open! After sharing the lunch with each other, Jackie¡¯s tea shop was our next destination and up there I met Jackie, Ã¨ßä£¬±¾×Ó£¬Bonnie, etc. They¡¯re still the same working hard to the preparation for the concert stuffs and personal business are pushing Jackie so hard. I know all those are bothering and I want to do all I can do to help them out. I firmly believe that she can get it over with her toughness of character, but I will pray for her all the time. This trip made me meet the old friends and get to know some new friends. Yesterday afternoon, my old friend Zhao¡¯s appearance blew me away pretty much because of his body shape change. I felt very happy for his fit and more slimmer than before. He made it within the voice the people always mock his weight up, including me. The fact that we couldn¡¯t find my living address convinced me that Shanghai wasn¡¯t a small place to hang out without any sense of direction at the dark night.

After one day¡¯s schedule was almost done, all of a sudden I made up a very crazy decision and I decide to stay out all night to Karaoke with Ð¡µû, Èý¼¾µÀ£¬Âó×Ó£¬Shaity and ·¬ÇÑ¡£This is the first time for me to perform good music for them, even though I couldn¡¯t open my eyes any more till the end. Is this a big deal compare with this rare opportunity? Not at all.

I¡¯ve set up the highest record to be in the sleepless condition. Twenty-five hours not to get sleep. At 7:00 am in the next morning, I got some sleep in the bed of my hotel. My mission of buying books was started after 5 hours. With the help of Harry and Pomelocat, I got what I want to get.

All of these sounds like a dream, a dream that I never want to step out, a dream that I never want to wake up, a dream that I never forgot and a dream that I want to have forever. Isn¡¯t life a dream? This full day isn¡¯t full with things going on like this.

As I planned before, I finally step on the train that is heading to Shanghai. This is going to be a long trip that is about to last about 15 hours. AC in here is trying to keep the heat away. But my mood can¡¯t be cooled off even now I¡¯m thousands of miles away from my destination. Right now sitting on my chair, I can feel that a lot of things are coming to my mind. But my problem is that I can¡¯t let them out. One of my buddies in NC came all the way to see me off and he kept telling me that I¡¯m a rich guy who can afford all the fees to watch DT¡¯s concert. Deep inside of me I still feel money isn¡¯t the all-about thing even I can¡¯t do this without it. Actually this is about dream-come-true thing. Other people will consider me as a nut when they know about my trip, but all the things I did are worth of it, because I want to give my virgin concert experience to my ¡°friend¡± DT. He¡¯s a soul mate to me. My buddy asked me once, ¡°Do you hit the road alone?¡± I can¡¯t answer him directly. Now listening to the music album ¡°Be as you are¡± Kenny Chesney made, I won¡¯t feel lonely when I listen to the melodies he created. And all these enable me to fully enjoy my trip. I guess this is a good point of contemporary country music. So ¡°Be as I am¡±.

After a couple of hours, the train will head out of the territory of Jiangxi Province, my hometown. I¡¯m clearly aware of how far my dream place is and the destination I want to get to during the journey. But do I know about my destination during the life journey? What will happen in the next couple of days? Who else will I meet in the next couples of days? I don¡¯t have a clue about them. Maybe this is life full of many unpredictable things. Now I decide to call it a day and enjoy the rest of my amazing trip.

    Another summer holiday is coming right at me. This one should be a very challenging holiday for me. I¡¯ve got a lot of personal projects in my head to deal with. Before this holiday, I¡¯ve already planned on everything that I have to do during this period and all these plans make me realize exactly what I want to accomplish. Sometimes we actually need some plans, which means goals.



For a couple of days, the daytime temperature in Nanchang is constantly over 35 degrees. The heat is sticky and makes my hair frizzy and difficult to manage which drives me crazy. The heat also makes you lazy and not want to do anything but just sweat more. The unbearable heat makes me kind of sick tire of the summer. Nanchang City is one of the most notable stoves in China. Growing and living in here for me is a very tough thing, especially at the summer time. AC keeps running to make us cooler and sweat less, but the heat inside is driven out and this makes the outside air be filled with more heat. What do we really want? Cool or hot?



    Keeping fit is everybody¡¯s dream. Now I just kind of feel that my body is a little bit out of my control. Without any measuring, I can still feel that I¡¯ve gained some weights in a couple of months. This is so painful for me that I can not stand it any more. So I make up my mind to get on diet and lose some extra weights. From now on, I exercise more than before and keep jogging in every morning to keep fit and maintain my best shape of body. After the holiday, I hope this major goal will be successful.



    Listening to music is also one of my ways to spend the holiday time. Now the good music becomes less and less, but I still ear caught several good albums, which was released recently. R&B singer Eric Benet (Oscar winner Halie Berry¡¯s husband) released his 3^rd album ¡°Hurricane¡± in May. I¡¯ve not listened to so comfortable and touching R&B album for a long while. Every single one in the album is splendid and almost covers many different styles in black man¡¯s music. The famous rock band Nine Inch Nails also released their new studio album ¡°With Teeth¡± and it soon occupied the best spot in Billboard Top 10. There¡¯s something very calming about this music although from the outside it appears to be violent and angry. The industrial-ness of it seems to make you feel like a machine with the drums and musical elements churning in rhythm to your brain waves. It somehow pacifies me and brings a certain kind of balance to my soul and world. Perhaps the world outside as we know it holds more dementia, violence and paranoia in comparison. Both artists are not the ones who can produce many albums in a short while. They¡¯d rather release their albums every three years not to give out three albums in a year and sacrifice the quality to make them more popular. I really appreciate this. Because creating music needs some accumulations and life experiences. Doing so that you can make some good music, which can touch the bottom of people¡¯s hearts. So good music is definitely deserved to be waited whenever it takes. I¡¯m firmly on their side to support them.

    Maybe at the end of this month, I will head for Shanghai and get busy for my music stuffs and stop by to reunite with some buddies in DTFC. All the time, my terrible schedule made me be not available to practice my guitar, so I¡¯m still staying at the same level and cannot make magnificent progress. The trip will help me with this. My DTFC buddies Harry, a music bug, he promises me to practice the guitar with him when I arrive at Shanghai. So I can¡¯t wait to see him. Next month, on August 13^th, it¡¯s a big day that DT¡¯s ¡°2005 Love you can amazing music Tour¡± will start at that day in Shanghai. I¡¯ll be there for the tour, which I look forward to for a long time. I¡¯ve already booked VIP tickets to enjoy the tour. This concert is also my first time to experience the live show and it¡¯s only for DT. I expect it to be a touching music tour, not a flaring one just as DT expects to be.

Recently, I met a pretty girl during guarding in the exam. She¡¯s a music teacher and her name is ³ÂÊé. Her beauty and good quality caught my eyes immediately when she appeared. I like hanging out with the girls who are obsessed with music and I can¡¯t explain why I like them. I always expected her to be my partner to guard the exam, but it didn¡¯t work out. I kept praying for God to offer me this opportunity. Apparently HE didn¡¯t hear me up. What else can I do about this? This is FATE according to Chinese old sayings.

I¡¯m 25 years old already and still have no history of getting a girlfriend. Now the feeling of finding myself a good girlfriend is getting stronger and stronger. I kept looking for her, my dream girl from everywhere, such as close friends of mine, colleagues, even from the virtual world. I once wanted to seek the answer to my problem. The conclusion that I always had is to be afraid of being turned down by someone I got feeling about. So you can say I am a coward of love and severely lack of self-confidence in love. Actually I can¡¯t stand the awkward moment when my date is refused.    I haven¡¯t written anything at all for a long while. Deep down inside I really wanna write some stuff about me, but my schedule doesn¡¯t allow me to do it. Alright, I finally get a chance to write it down. So let¡¯s make a long story short and get straight.



   Doubts and struggles always bother me and make me uncomfortable. Despite of all the tough time I still think this is a necessary thing in our life and it is also needed mostly with the process of our grown-up. It¡¯s good to question something about our life, even about our leadership. I have to admit that there are a lot of ghosts around us, especially for our Chinese people and society. They live not for contributing but benefiting from somebody else. They¡¯ve got money and power to make them more wealthy and powerful instead of doing something to make a difference in their own life as well as somebody else¡¯s life. Recently I¡¯ve heard something bad about a principal in my city. I seldom encounter with him just once and his toughness impresses me a lot. But the fact he received large amount of money to get someone in his school make me really sick of this guy and he is the typical ¡°ghost¡± what I¡¯m talking about. There are many of ¡°him¡± around us. Their fake masks always misdirect us and an evil appearance lies behind it and this is a very terrified thing.

   As a teacher, a profession that I¡¯m engaging, my job is not only to make my students¡¯ grades good enough but also to let them make a difference in life and get to know the true meaning of life. As a matter of fact, many Chinese teachers actually don¡¯t know how to teach our kids. There is something wrong with our system that is a part of reason to misdirect them. Now this is a vicious circle and things are getting worse and worse. Nobody wanna listen to the heart sounds of kids and help them with their difficulties. Grades have become everything to judge one. More ironically, our fate is not decided by your hard work as what the principal I mentioned before did. So what¡¯s the use of hard work? Pulling some strings have become a necessary method to get the better life. Based on this, I think we deserve to get punished by God and now the timing is not right. All I¡¯ve got to do is to keep praying for us.

   Thirteen more days left until the arriving of a long summer holiday. And this is the only hope for me to allow me to escape from the cruel reality I¡¯m facing. Nobody knows what our future will be like, so do I. I know escaping can¡¯t solve my problem, but right now and right this moment I also can¡¯t find the way out. New Year's Words for myself

Today is the first day of 2005. Now I wanna look back on the time when I was doing something in the past 2004.

The meaning of 2004 is very important to me, because since then I stepped out of the school and joined to another school, the working place of mine till now. There are a lot of ups and downs happened to me. Happy hours always make me wanna keep them in my mind and sad time makes me wanna switch it off my shoulder as soon as possible. I think my job is supposed to be the most interactive job in the world and it can let me interact with the different people, especially with my own students. At the very beginning, I treated my job very seriously and wanna do it as my life career, till now the thoughts about this are not to be changed by anything. With the time going, a lot of shits happened to me, job transfer, the contradiction between my ideal teaching and the traditional teaching thoughts of school leaders. I know there is always something not going with your way. So I'm still living in the struggle. The struggle that I'm encountering is not the only one, but also the one between the reality and my real dream. I remembered once David Tao's saying," If you've got a dream, just go for it." But said easier than done. Now I still have no courage to drop everything off and start with nothing. I figure that all these will continue to be around me in 2005, even longer. Who knows what's gonna happen in the future? I don't know and I also don't wanna know. Let almighty God take charge of this.

Before 2004, I'm the person that I don't wanna open up my mind to somebody else.But in 2004 I'm sort of changed and eventually open up a little to my friends. I start to discuss about my music and social opinions with my friends. I begin to know the true meaning of sharing the good things with the friends. It seems that I've turned a new leap on my life. My faith to God is growing stronger and I've learned to look at something at the position of Him. I think I should appreciate everything I have. The trip to HK & Shanghai makes believe a lot of people stand on my side to support me and give me the blessings. Thank Pat&Leo,Xenia, Jackie, Dean, YieYie, ºúÜ¿£¬ÖÜæÃ etc. You guys makes me see the true friends.

In 2005, DT's new album will release and my mini concert is about to roll, and wish all the lucky things are around me all the time and wish the our home world PEACE & LOVE.

On a more serious note, I ask that all of our members and those of you visiting our site to please say a prayer for those hurt by the recent tragic tsunami disaster caused by the earthquake in the Indian Ocean. This may be a time of celebration as the New Year rolls in but for many in Asia it is a time of grief, sadness and tragedy. Please say a prayer for those victims and if possible donate some of your time, money and awareness to help those in need during this time.
